Head chef, Phil Wild, is an enthusiastic and dedicated supporter of local producers and suppliers and his seasonally-changing menu of modern British dishes, included local game from the Well Barn Estate, meat, fruit and vegetables from local suppliers and fresh fish delivered daily from Cornwall.
Our dining rooms seat up to 50. Further drinking and dining space is available outside in our pretty orchard garden.
We always offer vegetarian options and dishes for those with food allergies and intolerances. All our dishes are made fresh to order and we make our own bread daily along with jams, ice creams and cured salmon. Children can choose from the half price half size portion on all dishes on any menus or eat from the separate children’s menu
Phil’s long and illustrious career as a chef includes working in iconic British inns and hotels, having started his career at the Michelin-starred Carlton Elite Hotel in Switzerland, thirty years ago.
Phil has also worked as Head Chef at The Bear Hotel, Woodstock (3 rosette) The Stonehouse Court, Gloucester (2 rosette), The Great House, Sonning (2 rosette), the Sir Christopher Wren, Windsor (2 rosette) and The Swan Hotel, Streatley.
